Rev. Janice Lynn arrived at Christ UMC in Piscataway in 2024

after serving over 23 years in Maplewood, Sparta, Highland Park and Wantage.

She is a second career pastor who worked in advertising for the (Plainfield) Courier News/Gannett in NJ

and the New York Times in NY and Dallas.

 

Janice received a BA from the New School prior to her completing her Master of Divinity

at Drew Theological School.  Rev. Lynn’s has a passion for preaching, Contemplative Worship,

and engaging the Scriptures through a progressive lens.  

 

Her faith is grounded in Wesleyan grace that reminds us that God’s love comes before anything we say or do,

that we must live of life of repentance and believe in Christ’s forgiveness,

and that we must desire to perfect ourselves in love.
