Upon the advice of our member medical professionals, it was decided that with the increasing numbers of COVID-19 cases in our area and across the nation, we will continue to worship, meet, and serve virtually for the foreseeable future. We have agreed to meet monthly to review the progress in the fight against the virus and to plan for a future return. We are all encouraged by the results of the vaccine clinical trials, but recognize that there will be a lag-time between FDA approval and broad availability for the general public.

We recognize that in this time of increased isolation, it is important to offer opportunities for connection. We continue to lift small groups as a prime conduit of fellowship, friendship, and spiritual growth. If you have not done so, please consider joining or starting a small group that you might have a crew to journey through this pandemic with and we are seeking new opportunities for safe in-person fellowship. If you have any suggestions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

It was decided that communication from this team will be updated regularly and will be disseminated through Pastor’s weekly email blast, the Admin’s weekly Friday email blast, announcements on Facebook, and the church website. You may view the results of the survey here.

Thank you for your patience and continued faithfulness to the ministry of Christ UMC. Know that you are loved and missed. We are pleased that we are finally now able to gather together in person (with masks) as well as online.
